Can i implement +/- speed feature ( option of increase and decrease the speed through push button ) in ATV12 variable speed drives ?

As specified in the programming manual, there is no +/- speed function available in ATV12.

But the ATV12 Remote operation and programming by HMI is possible using the optional remote HMI part VW3A1006. This HMI is provided with Start, Stop, Forward/Reverse, up/down buttons. This UP/DOWN button can be used for increase and decrease the speed reference.

Therefore, it’s possible to change the speed reference with the up and down button, but this is not the +/- speed function. It’s the same as change the speed reference with the jog dial.

If the remote display is connected to the drive, it’s possible to set the speed reference source to it through parameter FR1 = LCC(Remote display).

If +/- speed function is needed, it is available with ATV320 drive
