Issue:
Difference between instantaneous and fault signaling auxiliary contacts
Product Line:
Contactors and Starters - IEC
Environment:
Tesys GV Manual Starter
Resolution:
The instantaneous aux contacts change state to follow the GV2 control as it is mechanically moved to the energized or de-energized position. The fault signaling contacts change state in the event of any fault (i.e. overload or short circuit) condition only. Otherwise, they are not affected by the movement of the control from energized to de-energized state.
