In selection of active setting group in Sepam series 20 what does it mean if we choose “setting group A and B”?
By setting group A and B actually all four elements of over current protection are activated at the same time. In Sepam series 20 when you have got just group A or just group B activated then you can set over current protections up to two steps for each group. If you need more steps (as an illustration three steps or four steps) there is no way just ignoring the group concept and instead of that having more steps. It is done by choosing active setting group to “setting group A and B”. Just remind again that by this setting we do not have any more the concept of groups for Sepam series 20 since both groups are activated at the same time for a particular working regime.
In addition be informed that this feature exists just in Sepam series 20. But for remaining Sepams series as all have 4 setting steps for each group so there is not any need to have this setting option in SFT2841.
