Is BMXAMI0810 tolerant to HART signal?

Issue
Customers want to use the analog HART instruments with BMXAMI0810.

Product Line
x80 Modules

Environment
EcoStruxure Control Expert v14.0, BMEP584040, BMXAMI0810

Resolution
HART instruments have Digital and Analog signal with Frequency Shift Keying (FSK).
This is related to analog sampling. In most cases it doesn’t sample just exactly the full digital sinewave cycle or the multiples of it, then there’s the interference introduced. So, to be HART compliant it needs a HART signal filter on the input that currently the BMXAMI0810 does not have otherwise a maximum deviation within +/-0.5mA can be seen due to the HART FSK.
So, in case HART information is part of the signal to be measured, an ABE-7CPA31E interface sub-base has to be used in order to filter this information that would disrupt the analog value.

Schneider Electric also has the BMEAHI0812 that is an analog input module for specific for HART inputs.
