Can I control when to charge my EVlink charger?

The charging station has a conditional input E6 which can be configured as “deferred start” or as “power limitation”, or as “to be ignored” (factory setting). The conditional input can be connected to any device capable of closing a contact. It is active when connected to the mains phase. It remains inactive when not connected.

Deferred start of charging
The conditional input can be connected, for example, to a clock to schedule charging hours or to an on-peak / off-peak contactor to charge only during off-peak hours. Start is deferred as long as the input is active.

Charging power limitation
The conditional input can be connected to a load shedder for example. As long as the input is active the charging station reduces the maximum charging current setpoint value given to the vehicle:
• From 16 A to 10 A for 3 and 11 kW charging stations
• From 32 A to 16 A for 7 and 22 kW charging stations
