The goal of this FaQ is to explain how to solve the 'virtual disk' service error after a write filter usage.

This issue can occured after a volume modification (like Shrink a new system volume).

The device impacted is the Harmony P6 IPC Box.

Procedure steps

1. Open the Windows task manager.
2. Reach the ‘services’ tab
3. Click on ‘Open Services’ tab
   
4. Open ‘Properties’ of ‘Optimize drives’
5. Change ‘Startup type’ from disable to ‘Automatic (Delayed Start)’

Shrink/Extend feature will work when you will have finished above processes.
