Can an 8502 Type SD Size 2 contactor be used to replace the contactor in an 8536 Type SD Size 2 starter?

Can I use an 8502 Type SD Size 2 contactor to replace the contactor in an 8536 Type SD Size 2 starter?

No. The load side on the 8502 contactor will not match up with line side of the overload relay.
