Why is there No Continuity on a GS1 Disconnect Even with the Handle Turned to the ON Position?
Issue:
No continuity when doing a new installation of the GS1 disconnect switch and handle
Product Line:
Disconnect Switches
Environment:
GS1 and GS2 Fusible Disconnect Switches
Resolution:
The operator is likely turned to the TEST position instead of to the ON position. Check the viewing window on the front of the switch. If a T appears, the switch is in the TEST position. Find the handle mounting instructions and be sure the handle is installed correctly. Detailed trouble shooting instructions are available upon request.
Please see attached instructions using a TEST handle and a NON-TEST handle.
