Are the neutral assemblies used in general duty, heavy duty, and double throw safety switches isolated and insulated?

General Duty Safety Switches

Resolution:
Yes. ALL the neutral assemblies used in the general duty, heavy duty, and double throw safety switches are isolated and insulated as standard. The switches that come with a neutral will contain a bonding strap, or if the neutral is ordered separately, it will contain a bonding strap, so the neutral can be bonded for service entrance applications. Once the neutral is bonded, it is NO longer isolated from the enclosure, but it does still remain insulated.
NOTES:
1) The following general duty safety switches DO NOT have solid neutral assemblies that can be used in the switch. If a neutral is required, consider using a heavy duty switch.
2) ALL 4 and 6 pole and receptacle heavy duty safety switches DO NOT accept solid neutral assemblies.
3) Some double throw safety switches DO NOT have solid neutral assemblies that can be used in the switch. Some can ONLY be factory installed, but lose the UL listing. Check current digest for catalog numbers.
