No. UL 924 is a standard developed by Underwriter`s Laboratories covering Emergency Lighting and Power Equipment. This standard was developed to help guide the use of electrical emergency related equipment and, in the case of emergency egress, works hand in hand with the Life Safety Code (NFPA 101). This standard directly addresses exit sign construction, visibility, and use.
