If you upgrade the exec firmware in the TSXWMY to version 1.9, the Web Designer application in the software on the PC must also be updated to version 1.9 before it can be transferred to the module. The Web Designer application in the module will automatically be updated to the latest version (i.e., 1.9) during the exec firmware update.
In order to update the target version of the application, the update must be performed in sequential steps. Web Designer does not allow the application target to be updated from an older version directly to the latest version
i.e., to update the target version for a TSXWMY100 application that is at version 1.7, the following needs to be performed.
1.) Update the target to version 1.8 first using the following steps:
To update the target:
- Click on the application name to highlight it.
- Click on Target\Update Target Version
- Click on 'Yes' to confirm the upgrade to version 1.8
- A progress window will appear.
- After the update finishes, a status window will appear.
- Click on OK to close the window.
2.) Repeat the procedure to update the target to version 1.9.
