Are Solid Neutral Assemblies available(or can they be added) to ALL Double Throw Safety Switches, what neutral is used for each switch and what is the terminal lug data?

Issue:

Product Features

Product Line:
Double Throw Safety Switch

Cause:
Terminal lug data

Resolution:
DTSS = Double Throw Safety Switch
S/N = Solid Neutral

Most of the DTSS will accept a S/N assembly with some exceptions. SEE the below S/N Table from the current on-line digest 178. Select the neutral based on the amperage of the switch.
** ALWAYS CHECK THE SWITCH WIRING DIAGRAM OR ON-LINE DIGEST FOR MOST UP TO DATE INFORMATION **

NOTES:
1) LOOK AT ALL APPROPRIATE FOOTNOTES UNDER THE TABLE
2) If a Catalog number contains a suffix 'N', then the switch will contain a S/N Assembly from the factory(for example: DTU224NRB or DTU324NRB).
3) For an existing(in the field), 400amp catalog number, it will require to check the switch wiring diagram and see if a field installable S/N assembly is shown. If a S/N is NOT shown on the wiring diagram, there will NOT be a field installable neutral.

4) All the 200amp Type DTU, Series E Switches come with a solid neutral factory installed.
5) The DT200N Neutral Assembly is provided with (4) lugs (2-incoming and 2-outgoing) with a wire range of  (1) #4 AWG - 300kcmil AL/CU wires.
6) For Older Series Switches, SEE SWITCH WIRING DIAGRAM (located on the back side of the switch cover), IF THE SWITCH WILL ACCEPT A NEUTRAL ASSEMBLY.
