PIDA controller/block can be both direct-acting or reverse-acting PID controller.
If a direct-acting PID controller output increases when the process value rises and
a reverse-acting PID controller output decreases when the process value rises then
PIDA controller in TelePACE Studio will be:
- direct-acting PIDA controller when gain is positive (Gain > 0) in PIDA block configuration and
- reverse-acting PIDA controller when gain is negative (Gain < 0) in PIDA block configuration;
If a direct-acting PID controller output increases when the process value rises and
a reverse-acting PID controller output decreases when the process value rises then
PIDA controller in TelePACE Studio will be:
- direct-acting PIDA controller when gain is positive (Gain > 0) in PIDA block configuration and
