Issue:
How do you install an auxiliary, overcurrent trip, or alarm switch (S29450) into a PowerPacT P frame circuit breaker?
Product Line:
Molded Case Circuit Breakers
Resolution:
Make sure the breaker is in the tripped position, and then remove the four screws on the cover and remove the cover. Place the switch into one of the top three horizontal slots to the right of the handle for the OF or auxiliary functionality (changes state when the breaker contacts change state), the bottom horizontal slot to the right of the handle for the SD or alarm functionality (changes state when the breaker trips), or the vertical slot directly to the right of the handle for the SDE or overcurrent trip functionality (changes state when the breaker trips on a fault).
