Programming Function A timer in Ladder logic for Zelio smart relay?

Product Line:
Relays and Timers

Environment:
Zelio smart relay

Resolution:
The Ladder logic program in Zelio smart relay offers powerful timer function. There are 3 types of blocks for timer function--- contact, command coil and reset coil. The command and reset coil are the ‘logic block’ where you can define what timing logic you need the timer to execute. The contact for the timer are the actual output or actuator of the timing logic.

For the timers in Ladder Logic, it offers 11 different timing function, this FAQ is the tutorial about how the Timer function ‘A: Active, control held down’ works. The delay time was set to 3 seconds.

A simple program was built including a N.O. contact ‘I1’ that is controlling the command coil of the timer, output Q1 is controlled by I1. It will delay for 3 seconds for the coil to be actually energized after the I1 contact is closed. If the status of I1 is interrupted, the timer will reset to 0 second.

A simulation was conducted to show how the program works:
