How can your read the KW and motor power data on the ATV630 and ATV930 Process drives?
Issue:
KW and motor power data on the ATV630/930 Process drives

Product Line:
Altivar ATV630 ATV930

Environment:
All

Cause:
Want to read the KW and Motor power ratings.

Resolution:
EPRW (register 3293) is a parameter reporting the estimated power consumed by the motor.
OPRW (register 3292) is a parameter reporting the estimated mechanical power provided by the motor.
The scaling of the parameters are depended on the drive rating, and the adjustment of the parameter BFR (Motor Standard).  If BFR is set to 50Hz IEC, the value is in KW.  If BFR is set to 60Hz Nema, the value is in HP.

Of course, there is a difference between these two parameter values reflecting the efficiency of the motor.
