Issue: When trying to create a User Defined Library and within that, a Custom Family, you may meet an error message ‘’Library Database is locked by another process, Unity Pro or tool” as below figure
Resolution:
when the user attempts to modify or create a library on the Logic Editor library manager, the changes take effect and are saved at folder ‘’CustomLibset’’
The path shall be as following:
C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\UnityScadaPack 11.1\CustomLibset
And you have to make sure that current Microsoft windows user has the permissions to modify and write on ‘UnityScadaPack 11.1’ folder
There are two ways to resolve this issue:
1- Run RemoteConnect as an Administrator every time you want to create or modify the library
Or
2- Give the windows user the permissions stated above. to do this go to
C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric
