Why exporting and importing a Control Expert application could  sometimes fix application related issues.

Product Line
Control Expert 14.1

Environment
Windows 10

Resolution
When an issue occurs with the Control Expert application, Sometimes the issue could be resolved by exporting the application
and re-importing it.   This resolution will explain why this method could help fix the issue.

When the application is exported, the export function generates a file that contains unprotected data and references to
protected data that is extracted from the '.stu' file.   This data and reference information is  used to create specific files for the final
exported '.zef' export file

When the '.zef' file is imported, Control Expert extracts the data from these files and compiles them back into
a structure and format required for using the application in 'Control Expert'.  During the compiling of the information from
the files, it stores the data into specific arrangement and locations that are required by the Control Expert software.  If
the original issue was caused by a miss-arrangement or miss-location of the data while it was being used in Control Expert,
this could possibly fix the issue..

Therefore, if an issue does arise with a Control Expert application, it is recommended for the user to try exporting the
application as a '.zef' file and importing it back into Control Expert to see if the issue could be resolved.
