What is an RCCB circuit breaker?
Issue:
What is the difference between an RCCB and RCBO breaker?

Product Line:
DIN rail mounted circuit breakers

Resolution:
RCCB stands for residual current circuit breaker, however it is a switch (no thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection) with ground fault protection. By contrast, an RCBO is more like our GFI breaker with thermal magnetic protection in addition to ground fault protection. Residual simply means ground current. They are IEC rated (not UL), so their use is only for OEMs who want these product features and don`t need UL listing on the devices.
