Resolution:
The first digit for 8 poles or fewer devices represent the normally open power poles and the second digit represents the normally closed power poles. For example, Class 8903 Type LO60 provides 6 normally open power poles where Type LO06 provides 6 normally closed power poles and Type LO33 provides 3 normally open and 3 normally closed power poles.

On 10 and 12 pole devices normally open is represented by the first two digits and normally closed by the last two digits .For example, Class 8903 Type LO1200 provides 12 normally open power poles where Type LO0012 provides 12 normally closed power poles and Type LO66 provides 6 normally open and 6 normally closed power poles. There is a maximum of 8 normally closed power poles when used in conjunction with normally open poles.
