ASCO and Square D SPD Voltage options by Schneider Electric for Surge Protection Devices
Issue:
What are the voltage options / codes for a surge protection device (SPD)
Environment:
Surge Protection
Cause:
Must know the EXACT voltage system that the SPD will be applied to, for example, voltage readings from L-G, L-N, and L-L. If you are not able to provide voltages readings the please specify if the voltage system is a Wye, Delta, High-Leg Delta (HLD), High-Resistance Ground (HRG), Single Phase, or Split-Phase. Please also provide the peak surge current rating that is needed or any other specifications so that we can provide an accurate SPD solution. For example, surge counter, specific enclosure, EMI/RFI filtering, Type 1, Type 2, or integral disconnect switch.
Resolution:
Select the correct voltage code needed for your SPD installation and voltage requirement
