What is the composition of the coded magnetic switches?

The Schneider Electric Coded Magnetic Switch is a complete product consisting of two parts: a magnetic switch which has a pre wired cable and a coded magnet which has no cable.

When purchasing, the complete product can be ordered using the part number from the catalogue or from the product packaging.

The complete product part number only appears on the product packaging, not on the individual parts making up the product.

In most cases, the complete part number can be derived from the part number printed on the switch, just replace the Z with DM. For example, if XCSZP5902 is printed on the switch, the full part number would be XCSDMP5902.
