Below is the procedure to control ATS48 through Modbus RTU
Step 1: Stop Input Must be connected to +24VDC. (Stop Terminal must be connected to +24V otherwise it will show your fault NST) in Command word move 6,7 & 15 for Starting the ATS48 Softstarter
Step 2: Set the Register address of ATS48 401 set to 6 in the Modscan or the PLC Software
Step 3: Set the Register address of ATS48 401 set to 7 in the Modscan or the PLC Software
Step 4: Set the Register address of ATS48 401 set to 15 in the Modscan or the PLC Software
Step 5: For Stop command Set the Register address of ATS48 401 set to 6 again in the Modscan or the PLC Software
With this you will be able to Start and Stop the Soft starter through Modbus
