There are 5 Operating Modes for Photoelectric Sensors as the following :
- Through - beam: Long distance detection.
- Diffuse: using target reflective properties.
- Diffuse with background suppression: discriminates between background and target. Consequence: detection of targets is done at the same range regardless of color.
- Reflex: for Opaque targets.
- Polarized Reflex: for detecting shiny objects.
