The following steps can be used to configure the' TCSEGDB23F24FA' M340 Modbus Plus Proxy
Module

  • Set the Modbus Plus address for the bridge using the rotary switch that are located on the back
of the module.
  • Connect to the module using the default MAC derived ethernet address.
  • Enter the default username (USER) and password (USER) to access the configuration/setup
web pages.
  • Click on 'Setup'.
  • Click on 'IP Setup'.
  • Enter the IP address parameters.
  • Click on 'Apply'.
  • Click on 'Save To Flash'.
  • Click on 'IP address' under the section labeled 'M340 Interface'.
  • Enter the IP address parameters.
  • Click on 'Apply'.
  • Click on 'Save To Flash'.
  • Click on 'Register Offsets' under the 'M340 Interface' section.
  • Fill in the appropriate parameters.
  • Select 'Legacy Compatability 0x 4x by 1' if you are communicating to a Modicon PLC.
  • Click on 'Apply'.
  • Click on 'Save To Flash'.
  • If applicable, click on the appropriate sections to be filled in under the section named 'Modbus Plus Peer Cop'
