What is the main function for the Carriage Switch (CE/DE/CT) found in the Withdrawable ACB?
- Any Withdrawable ACB has 3 positions:
1- Connected
2- Tested (power circuit open but control circuit connected)
3- Disconnected
The main function of carriage switch is to give output signal for each position as a status to the breaker
CE: When the breaker is connected, it is energized
CD: When the breaker is disconnected, it is energized
CT: when the breaker is in the testing position, it is energized
