What are the maintenance procedures of Canalis BBT?
The Canalis BBT (Busbar Trunking) requires no maintenance due to the easy way to link all runs and at the same time, the installation is a static one.

If the busway is placed in a dirty or aggressive environment, then the maintenance will be cleaning off the dust or having a visual inspection if it was placed in a chemical area. This check is not mandatory because normally nothing happens even in very dirty spots like in the automotive industry where we have found tap-offs covered with oil. The tap-offs installation is 25 years old and still running. The most important point is taking care in which environment the busways are being installed because they can have a much quicker aging process according to the aggressiveness of the installation environment.

Please find attached a declaration of conformity stating that the Canalis offer is maintenance free. I have also attached some guidelines regarding preventative maintenance for some Canalis ranges.
