the message "protection key not found" is displayed on my application despite owning A Vijeo citect V7.5 SP1 USB key
1) Install the latest patch for 7.5 SP1. 

2) Relicense the USB-key once again (you need to go on the website and then enter the key code and paste in Ciusafe the newly generated Authorization code. 

3) Make sure that you run with the windows updated.

If the issue still persists you may need to format your PC and redo the steps above
