The power capacitor is dedicated to improve the cos phi between the voltage and current on the main.
However their not adapted to the drive because the cos phi is near 1 (0.98) that mean not relevant to improve it
Drives are not linear load, which means they generate harmonic current. In fact, when the capacitors compensate, they see the current harmonics which create the resonance that occurs via amplification of voltage and current up to blow them.
In general, the power factor capacitors are not compatible with the non-linear loads.
