Jean-Pascal Tricoire

Jean-Pascal Tricoire is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric. In addition to his current roles, he leads the Asia business as Chairman and Regional President of Schneider Electric Asia Pacific.

As the head of what is the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, Jean-Pascal is committed to creating a more sustainable and inclusive future for all, using technologies and digital innovation to empower all to make the most of their energy and resources.

Jean-Pascal was appointed as Chairman of the Management Board in 2006 and then Chairman and CEO since 2013, following the change of Schneider Electric’s governance. Prior to these roles, he was Schneider Electric’s Chief Operating Officer. He first joined the company’s Executive Committee in 2001, in charge of the International Division. Over his 35-year career at Schneider Electric, Jean-Pascal has held diverse positions across France, Italy, China, South Africa, and the United States. He is currently based in Hong Kong.

Jean-Pascal is a director of the worldwide board of the UN Global Compact, a UN #HeForShe Corporate IMPACT champion, and is a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum. Jean-Pascal has been leading the French/China Association for 12 years and he also sits on the Global CEO Council of China’s Premier Li Keqiang, as well as on the Advisory Board of the Mayors of Beijing and Shanghai. Jean-Pascal is on the board of directors of Qualcomm.

Pankaj Sharma

Executive Vice President
Secure Power Division

Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President of the Home & Business Networks (HBN) line of business within the Secure Power Division from August 2016 to December 2019. In this role, he was responsible for the future strategy, product and software landscape, and leading a global team of R&D, quality, software, program creation, and product management professionals.

Prior to this role, Pankaj served as the Regional VP for APJ, where he held responsibility for overseeing the business strategy across East Asia, Japan, India, and the Pacific – totaling 17 countries. Through his leadership, he ensured businesses across the region maintained a strong focus on customers and partners. He led the team of regional leaders and Cluster VPs in countries to develop customer-oriented processes, deliver innovative energy solutions in data centers, and build successful relationships with Schneider Electric stakeholders.

Since joining Schneider in 2000, Pankaj has held a variety of roles including Business Vice President for India, Japan, South Korea, and East Asia; as well as, roles in marketing & sales, strategy, and HBN & channels for the APJ region. Based in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States, Pankaj’s achievements include leading his team to turn around APW President’s rack business in India (a company acquired by Schneider in 2011), among other successful M&A activities performed for the Secure Power Division.

Prior to joining Schneider, Pankaj worked with GE in the Services area and began his career on the shop floor manufacturing CNC machines.

Pankaj is a six-sigma green belt and ISO9000 certified auditor.

Jonathan Chiu

Jonathan Chiu is the President of Schneider Electric Hong Kong. Leading the company’s overall business in Hong Kong and Macau, he spearheads business and management strategies to optimize organizational performance, lead bold transformations and drive business expansion and growth.

Since joining Schneider Electric two decades ago, Jonathan has held leadership roles in various business divisions within the organization. Passionate about empowering businesses to digitally transform throughout their lifecycles with innovative strategies and trusted technology, Jonathan has harnessed his expertise to drive transformation in efficiency and sustainability, and deliver world-leading energy management solutions across the company’s business portfolio. With his experience across the breadth of businesses, he helps advance Schneider Electric’s mission to be a digital partner in sustainability and efficiency for partners and customers.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, an MBA from the City University of Hong Kong and an MBA from Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program.

Giuliana Auinger

Giuliana Auinger is the Partner & Vice President of the Sustainability Business at Schneider Electric. She is responsible for managing the region’s Energy & Sustainability Services and Sustainability Consulting organization, with the mission to help large enterprises deliver climate mitigation actions and reduce carbon emissions using technological solutions.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Giuliana was a strategy consulting Partner at KPMG, practice leader at Axiom and management consultant at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants and Booz & Company.

Giuliana has an MBA from the University of Hong Kong and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Bristol.

Cally Chan

General Manager
Microsoft Hong Kong and Macau
Cally Chan is the General Manger of Microsoft Hong Kong and Macau, and the lead of the company’s overall strategy and business operation, growing the team and focusing on business expansion in accelerating digital transformation for customers and partners.

Cally strives to promote talent development and innovation and technology in Hong Kong. She has shouldered public duties for the government and many organizations, including the Standing Committee and the Knowledge Transfer Committee of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Advisory Committee of HKTDC’s TCT, the Advisory Committee of the Department of Computer Science of the City University of Hong Kong. Recognizing her significant contribution to Hong Kong I&T ecosystem, Cally was awarded Medal of Honour in 2022.

Cary Chan

Ir Dr Cary Chan, JP is a proven expert in creating energy efficient buildings in the APAC region. The pioneer of “Knowledge Based Energy Management” in Hong Kong, Cary currently holds the position of Executive Director at the Hong Kong Green Building Council.

An astute engineer, Cary played an instrumental role in establishing Hong Kong’s Green building assessment tool in 1995. In his illustrious career of 25 years, Cary has dedicated his efforts towards driving his vision of enabling and enhancing building energy efficiency.

He has published over 25 research papers on building energy efficiency and won several international awards, including Client of the Year – Low Carbon Operation Award by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers. In 2017, he was appointed as Justice of the Peace (JP) by the government of Hong Kong for his contribution to the Hong Kong community.

T K Chiang

Managing Director
CLP Power Hong Kong
Mr Chiang is the Managing Director of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited and holds overall responsibility for the operations of CLP’s Hong Kong regulated business, which includes a vertically integrated electricity utility serving customers in Kowloon, the New Territories and most of the outlying islands.

Mr Chiang holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr Chiang has over 10 years of experience in various senior management positions in CLP Power. He has extensive experience in generation, transmission and distribution systems as well as regulatory strategy. He has held various posts in different areas including power system asset management, planning, design, operation and maintenance, power quality, and corporate and regulatory strategy. He was the Chief Operating Officer in CLP Power before taking up his current position in June 2017. He is also a Director of various subsidiary companies and affiliated companies of the CLP Group.

Donald Choi

Driven by a deep-seated belief that design can make the world a better place for all, Donald Choi is both architect and developer. Always with an eye on the responsibilities that come with altering the built environment, his inclusive approach means that the schemes he leads, reflect more distinctly the needs of their users.

Donald Choi joined Chinachem Group in 2018 as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. Previously MD of the Nan Fung Group, and a Director of Foster and Partners, Donald has worked on a large number of high profile public and private projects worldwide. Alongside his professional career, he has held multiple leadership roles in NGO and professional bodies that focus on community, design and innovation. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at HKU, Trustee of Rhode Island School of Design, Advisory Committee Member of the HKTDC Infrastructure Development, Advisory Committee Member of PolyU Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation, Member of HKU Campus Development and Planning Committee, President of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, and Honorary Advisor of Hong Kong Workers’ Health Centre. Donald is the Chairperson of the Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre and also serves on the board of Habitat of Humanity Hong Kong, Hong Kong Green Building Council, Business Environment Council, Hong Kong Design Centre and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation.

Paul Evans

Paul has over 35 years’ multi-disciplinary design and construction project management experience in Hong Kong, Macau and the United Kingdom, with the past 26+ years’ spent working in Hong Kong and Macau. He joined Gammon in 2019 and was appointed Executive Director in 2020 responsible for overseeing the E&M division. In late 2020, Paul was given an expanded role as Chief Technology Officer responsible for Integrated Data Technologies, Digital and BIM business functions and for the Gammon in-house Innovation Incubator, Digital G Limited.

Brian Groen

As president of Vantage Data Centers in APAC, Brian Groen leads Vantage’s business across the Asia-Pacific region. With nearly 40 years of experience, Groen is a seasoned executive with an extensive background in data centers, public cloud, storage and managed services.

Prior to Vantage Data Centers, Groen was senior vice president for the data center, retail, manufacturing, logistics and hospitality industries at Data Centre and Digital Transformation, a division of PCCW Solutions Limited that was acquired by Vantage. In this role, Groen led the development and delivery of multiple data centers, increased data center occupancy by nearly 50% and increased data center revenue by more than eightfold in just three years.

Groen earned an Executive MBA from Auckland University.

Steven Lee

Steven Lee currently serves as the Director of Secure Power at Schneider Electric Hong Kong. In his role, Steven leads the overall strategy, business and operations of the Secure Power Division to provide the best-in-class solution for critical IT & data center establishment for customers.

Steven has joined Schneider Electric since 2011. Prior to his current role, Steven was the Head of Marketing, responsible for formulating and implementing marketing strategies to meet the company’s business objectives in the region. He managed new strategic business opportunities, products portfolio management and defined short-term and long-term business plans with digitization as the central focus.

Steven is an MBA degree holder from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and has pursued BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Information Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Simon Ng

Mr Simon Ng is Chief Executive Officer of Business Environment Council (“BEC”). He joined BEC as Director – Policy & Research in 2018, and was appointed as CEO since January 2022.

Mr Ng has over 25 years of experience in academic and policy research, project management and stakeholder engagement. He is known for his ground-breaking work on ship emissions inventory and evidence-based control policy in Hong Kong, and his instrumental role in the Fair Winds Charter – a voluntary business initiative to reduce ship emissions. Mr Ng is a Member of the Council for Sustainable Development of the Hong Kong SAR Government. Internationally, Mr Ng is an Expert Member of the UNCRD Regional Environmentally Sustainable Transport Forum in Asia since 2006.

Anthony Pau

Mr. Pau is Deputy Director (Head of Group Service Delivery) at Hang Lung Properties, with over 35 years’ experience in project, property and energy management in Hong Kong and the Mainland China. He is a Fellow member of HKIE, a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist of Engineering Council UK. Mr. Pau is currently a Technical Taskforce member and the Chairman of the Technical Working Group (Air Conditioning) on Mandatory Implementation of the Building Energy Code of the Electrical & Mechanical Services Department and Deputy Chairman of HKIE Fire Division. He is also a Property Management Partitioner – Tier 1, Registered Energy Assessor and RCx Professional in Hong Kong.

Laurent Pelletier

After a few years in a Consulting Firm that brought him to different continents, Laurent Pelletier joined Veolia twenty years ago and has not quit Asia ever since.

He started in Shanghai in the water business, taking different positions in Pudong Veolia Water, acting at the end as a COO. In 2010, Laurent moved to Hong Kong to take the position of CTO for Asia and support our operations and fast growth in the region.

In 2019, he took over the responsibility of Veolia Hong Kong and diversified Veolia’s portfolio of activities there, not only focusing on waste management but also energy optimization for buildings.

Andrew’s current role at Schneider Electric draw’s on more than 25 years of IT experience in software, hardware, services and consulting helping customers to address their most demanding business challenges in and around the data centre, edge and distributed IT domains. Andrew’s extensive and broad experience in sales, IT software, SaaS and IT Service Management across multiple geographies and business cultures, enables Andrew to develop software and service solutions for customers across a range of industry sectors and segments. Managing a broad team of pre-sales and sales professionals, Andrew, is highly motivated to ensure successful outcomes for his people and the customers they serve.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Andrew held positions as Principal, Software Services at CA Technologies, Sales Director at Insight ITSM, National Sales Manager (Services) at Dell and various Asia Pacific senior marketing and business development positions at Novell and Toshiba. Andrew has studied Marketing and International Business at the University of Western Sydney and the Australian Institute of Management, Sydney.

Raymond Yau

Dr Raymond Yau is General Manager of Technical Services & Sustainable Development at Swire Properties. He led the formulation of the company’s SD2030 strategy and established 1.5oC-aligned Science-Based Targets. These strategies and ambition pave way for the company in advancing towards a net zero future. To achieve the targets, he spearheaded implementing energy reduction strategies through Retro-Commissioning, Digital Transformation including Cloud-Base Smart Energy Management Platform, and tenant engagement programs. He partnered with HKUST and Tsinghua University in understanding embodied carbon emissions for new developments in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland. He also commissioned climate risk assessment to understand both transition and physical risks of company assets. And to support the transition towards a net zero future he helped to establish the company’s ESG Green Finance Framework.

Raymond is also a Member of the Advisory Council on the Environment; Executive Committee member and Board of Director in Business Environment Council; Director and Vice Chairman of Sustainable Development Committee, Hong Kong Green Building Council; Committee Member of China Green Building Council; and a Founding Member of International WELL Building Institute Governance Council.
