Zheng Yin

Executive Vice President

Schneider Electric
Zheng Yin leads overall strategy development and business growth in China & East Asia Operations at Schneider Electric, and is a member of its Executive Committee.

Zheng joined Schneider Electric in 2013 as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development before becoming the Senior Vice President of Low Voltage Business in China. He was later appointed as Executive Vice President of China Operations in January 2017.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Zheng held senior management positions at various multinational companies. He was Senior Vice President at Philips in China, in charge of strategy, new business development, mergers & acquisitions, and business transformation. He also held management roles in Dow Jones, Reuters, and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.

Zheng has an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and dual bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering, as well as Automation and Control from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Chris Leong

Chris Leong is a driven leader with extensive experience across continents and disciplines including organization and digital transformation, business strategies, sales and marketing across B2C and B2B industries.

Chris started with Schneider Electric in January 2012 and in March 2015, she was appointed as Chief Marketing Officer, part of the Schneider Electric Executive Committee Leadership Team. She is responsible for making marketing a competitive advantage for the company – building a strong purpose-led brand and leveraging digital to increase customer intimacy and drive business growth. Prior to her appoint as CMO, Chris served as the Executive Vice President, Digital Customer Experience, leading a key company transformation in digitization to deliver a more effective and engaging customer experience.

Previously, Chris led Nokia Greater China, Korea & Japan region, a US$8b P&L operations. During her six and a half years tenure at Nokia, Chris also held various global roles including Senior Vice President Global Marketing, where she was responsible for Nokia's Go-To-Market, brand and marketing with US$1b investment across 80 markets.

Prior to joining Nokia, Chris held various senior management roles in marketing communications firms, including WPP agencies Bates Asia (Hong Kong and Singapore), Ogilvy Europe (London, UK) and Grey Global Group (Singapore and Malaysia) working with global brand leaders such as P&G, Ford, HSBC, Heineken and various telecommunication brands.

Chris is passionate about ESG-based principles and is a firm believer that Purpose-led enterprises are the foundation for a Sustainable and Equitable future for our businesses, customers, employees, communities and the environment. She is an advocate of UNSDG that serves as our collective guide towards progress and sustainability for all.

During her free time, she believes in a giving back, passionate about working with charity groups focusing on efforts to support underprivileged children in our community.

Chris speaks four languages; English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.

Jonathan Chiu

President

Jonathan Chiu is President of Schneider Electric Hong Kong. He currently heads the company’s Management Committee responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operational delivery and business development for Schneider Electric in Hong Kong and Macau.

Since joining Schneider Electric two decades ago, Jonathan has held leadership roles in various business divisions within the organization. An experienced leader in energy management and automation, Jonathan is passionate about leveraging the power of digitization and innovation in delivering a holistic ecosystem approach to sustainable transformation. His years of experience in process and energy technologies, end-point to cloud connecting products, controls, software and services have been instrumental in elevating Schneider Electric’s reach and impact for homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructure and industries in Hong Kong.

Jonathan currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Business Environment Council, and was named Sustainability Leader of the Year at the HKMA Hong Kong Sustainability Award 2023.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, an MBA from the City University of Hong Kong, and an MBA from Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program.

Kevin O’Brien

Kevin joined Balfour Beatty, a shareholder of Gammon, in Hong Kong in 1996 and moved over to Gammon in 2004 where he has held a number of senior roles. Kevin was appointed Chief Executive of The Jardine Engineering Corporation in 2018 where he was responsible for all businesses across Asia. He transferred back to Gammon as the Chief Executive in 2021.

Kevin has over 30 years’ extensive management experience in the construction and engineering industry covering both the private and public sectors. He is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors. More recently, Kevin has led the widescale transformation projects in the traditional engineering businesses that he has led.

He is the current Chairman of the Business Environment Council, an Honorary Fellow of the Vocational Training Council and a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Department of Real Estate and Construction - Faculty of Architecture at the University of Hong Kong.

Christine Loh

Christine Loh is Chief Development Strategist at Institute for the Environment, HKUST, and Scholar in Residence at Asia Society Hong Kong. She is a former Undersecretary for the Environment (2012-17), special consultant to the Chief Executive on the mainland’s environmental policies (2019-20), and legislator (1992-2000). She is a lawyer by training, and prior to her public sector career, she was a commodities trader in a multinational firm with experience in natural resources. Loh serves on the boards of CDP Worldwide, Global Maritime Forum, New Forests Pty Limited, and Towngas Smart Energy Company Limited.

Michael Kwok

Ir Michael Kwok is the Chair of Arup East Asia Region. A structural engineer by profession, during his 38-year career at Arup he has completed the design of many major projects in Hong Kong including the Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, West Rail and in mainland China for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, including the National Stadium and Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3. Christina Hau

Ms Christina Hau is the Chief Executive Officer of Champion Real Estate Investment Trust, overseeing its strategic development, asset management, asset enhancement and investment opportunities.

Ms Hau is a Registered Architect in Hong Kong with over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, covering design, planning, project management and asset management of renowned world-class commercial complexes. Prior to joining the REIT Manager, Ms Hau worked at Hong Kong’s leading real estate listed companies overseeing key investment properties in Mainland China.

Tony Lee

Andre Blumberg

Mr. Andre Blumberg leads and strategically manages all Digital functions for CLP Hong Kong including Strategy & Architecture, Portfolio Management, IT delivery and operations, Data Services and Cyber Security. Alfred Sit

Prof Alfred Sit Wing-hang joined the Government in 1984 and was promoted to the Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services and General Manager of Electrical and Mechanical Services Trading Fund in 2017, responsible for electrical and mechanical safety as well as energy efficiency and conservation in Hong Kong and provision of engineering services to the electrical and mechanical assets of the Hong Kong SAR government with an annual turnover of more than HK $ 8 billion, concurrently to help leverage innovation and technology ( I & T) development in Hong Kong and nurture smart and green city initiatives. Prof Sit was appointed the Secretary for Innovation and Technology during the period April 2020 to June 2022. He was responsible for reporting to the President Xi Jinping of the I & T development of Hong Kong when President Xi visited Hong Kong in 2022. He was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government to recognize his distinguished services to the community and he is now a Justice of Peace.

Prof Sit is now the Chief Executive and Secretary of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and is also a Senior Advisor to the President and Vice -Chancellor of the Hong Kong Baptist University, Advisor of the Institute for Innovation, Translation and Policy Research of the Hong Kong Baptist University, Professor of Practice of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Honorary Professor of the Baptist University of Hong Kong.

Prof Sit is an electrical engineer by profession and has over 40 years’ experience in public administration. He is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. He was the President of the Hong Kong Institution of Facility Management, Chairman of the Biomedical Division and Secretary of the Nuclear Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

Harry Lai

Ir Harry LAI, BBS is the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Green Building Council. He was the Principal Advisor of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) from 2019 to 2023. Prior to his retirement from the civil services in 2019, Ir LAI was the Deputy Director/Regulatory Services of EMSD responsible for overseeing the enforcement of regulatory functions and implementation of various initiatives on electrical, mechanical, gas and railway safety as well as energy efficiency and conservation. Ir LAI had represented Hong Kong, China (HKC) to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Energy Working Group (EWG) meetings.

Ir LAI received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science degree in Environmental Management, both from the University of Hong Kong. He is a chartered engineer, a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and also the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK. He had served as Chairman of the HKIE Nuclear Division, Secretary of the HKIE Electrical Disciplinary Advisory Panel, and also Member of the HKIE Fellowship Committee. Ir LAI is the Adjunct Professor of the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong and the Adjunct Professor of the Research Institute for Smart Energy, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
