Cause:
Understanding how the pump curve functions on the Process Drive

Resolution:
It is possible to enter the characteristics of the pump delivered by the pump manufacturer.
Based on this inputs, the HMI will display a curve of load to show the BEP (Best Efficiency Point), point where we optimized the energy efficiency of the pump. Nearer you are, better it is.

It is an easy way to go on a very important point to deliver, based on this curves much more information to manage:
Energy monitoring
Pump monitoring
Protection of the pump by direct control under the pump curve and not only through sensors or current measurement.

Monitoring the pump operating point is major request from users to identify in which conditions the system is operating.
Pump curves care very easy to enter and it could be carried out through the different user interface (graphic terminal, Somove …) : Only 5 points are necessary.
