Description
During tag identification step, the algorithm looks for square shapes in the observed scene.
On Android tablets, bad performances had been noticed when the scene contains a lot of squares (for example on grids).
Solution
When a project contains only tag scenes, a higher resolution is automatically selected to increase the detection distance.
It is possible to deactivate the automatic resolution and manually select 640x480.
The drawback is a loss of detection distance.
Remark:
The loss of performance is less significant on iOS tablets. To keep a good detection distance and acceptable performance on scenes containing many square shapes, it is preferable to use an iPad.
