How to mount auxiliary contact blocks on TeSys Giga contactor if the lever on the side of aux-contacts block cannot be latched in the correct position?
TeSys Giga is always delivered with one 1NO+1NC auxiliary contact block (LAG8N113P) mounted to the right side of the contactor.
When customer wants to install the second auxiliary contact block (LAG8N113 or LAG8N203) to the right side of the contactor, the lever on the side of auxiliary contacts should be latched in the correct position as per our instruction sheet (referring to step 3):

However, in some cases the lever of the auxiliary contact block cannot be set into the latched position. In such cases, we propose to follow below steps:

  1. The first aux contact block, which is already installed on the contactor should be disassembled.
  2. Set the lever of the first aux. contact block in the intermediate position and shown in below picture.

  1. Installation of the first aux. contact block should be done, with contactor in OFF condition.
  2. Repeat step 2 for the second aux contact block and install it.
  3. The contactor needs to be operated ON & OFF at-least one time, then the mounting is completed. Now correct NO/NC signal status shall be available from the auxiliary contacts.
To instal aux-contact block(s) on the left side of the contactor, follow the steps 2…5 as explained above.
