What causes error FDH-9494H to appear on a Magelis HMI?
Issue:
The Magelis HMI is unable to communicate to the PLC. There are triangles all over the screen and the error message shows the error code FDH-9494H.
Product Line:
Magelis, XBTGT, XBTGK, HMIGK, HMIGTU, HMIGTO, HMISTO, HMISTU, iPC
Resolution:
One possibility is that one of the variables you are reading has an invalid data length or device address. The best way to determine which object is invalid is to delete the variables / objects using the divide-and-conquer method in Vijeo Designer. Once you determine which object is invalid, check what is wrong with its device address.
Another possibility is that you have made changes to your PLC program and did not update the Symbol link in Vijeo Designer to update the indexes for the unlocated tags. You will need to re-link your PLC symbol file and re-download to the HMI. Please refer to this FAQ for more details: https://www.se.com/ca/en/faqs/FA387641/
