EasyLogic power factor controllers permanently monitor the reactive power of the installation and control the connection and disconnection of capacitor steps in order to obtain the targeted power factor. Power factor controllers are microprocessor based, which analyzes the current input signal from the load current transformer and the Voltage tapped from the Bus to produce switching commands to control the contactor ON/OFF of the capacitor steps.
