It is recommended to use Telemecanique's converter TSXCUSB232 since this uses the driver already installed by SFT2841.
Up to SFT2841 V10.1 Com port from 1 to 4 only should be used for Sepam 40 ( 1 to 9 available but if >4 user messages and logical equation will not be loaded ).
Starting with Version 10.3 available Q4 2008 all com port allowed by operating system will be usable.
