Schneider Electric appoints Monica Madan as CFO in Ireland

Maynooth (Ireland), April 11, Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has announced the appointment of Monica Madan as the Chief Financial Officer for Ireland. Monica is based at the company’s headquarters in Maynooth and will report to Antoine Sage, Finance Vice President & CFO of Schneider Electric UK & Ireland.

Schneider Electric Ireland provides energy and automation digital solutions for sustainability and efficiency. The company employs nearly 400 people across four sites - Maynooth, Galway, Belfast and Cork - and supports customers in key industry segments, including data centres, commercial buildings and life sciences. As part of the French multinational company, Schneider Electric, it regularly tops the rankings as one of the world’s most sustainable companies.

With over 18 years’ experience in providing financial strategy to global Fortune 500 companies from multiple industries, Monica will be responsible for a broad spectrum of functions supporting Schneider Electric’s annual and long-term financial goals for the whole of Ireland. She will drive financial strategy and support business growth and development opportunities.

Monica joined Schneider India in 2016 and has previously held roles at Shell and Microsoft in India. She officially began her new position on November 1, 2022, relocating to Ireland in December. Schneider Electric Ireland’s Leadership’s team has also been bolstered with the appointment of Juliana Moraes as Tender Director from March 2023.  Juliana has 12 years of experience in the renewable energy space working with utilities to construct wind farm projects. Juliana will lead Schneider Electric’s pricing of solutions and projects for the Irish Market and will report to Chris Collins, Schneider Electric Country President for Ireland.
