Can the Sepam time be synchronized by Satellite with a IRIG-B signal?
The time in a Sepam device can be synchronized with a IRIG-B Satellite signal but requires the use of a PowerLogic STS3000 (Satelite Time Synchronization System). The STS3000 package contains a CyberSciences STR100 Satellite Time Reference Module, a GPS antenna/receiver, and associated cables. The STR100 provides two DCF-77 time synchronization outputs. Each output provides a time synchronization signal to 16 circuit monitors, in a daisy-chain format, with a maximum cable length of 300 meters (985 feet) when using 18-AWG, shielded, twisted-pair cable. For more information refer to the STS3000 instructions.
Note that as Sepam doesn't own any IRIG-B input, STR100 module will send synchronisation pulses to time synchronisation input of Sepam.s
