Why can't I see the Backward Compatibility tab in SoSafe Bus Configurator tool, even when backwards compatibility is enabled?
If you are clicking to enable backward compatibility in the settings tab, but not seeing the tab show up next to parameters, then you must first enable some settings in the configuration file entitled "conf".
To show the backward compatibility tab, "I/O_Select" option in the configuration file must be set to 1. To enable full functionality of the tab, you may also make sure that "I/O_Modulari" is set to 1.
To do this, first find the file folder. This is easily done by right-clicking on the desktop shortcut for bus configurator, and clicking open file location. Unless downloaded to specific location, this should be in your main drive under programme files and then: Schneider Electric\SoSafe Configurable\Bus Configurator.
Once here, open the file named 'conf'. You may now change values from '0' to '1' against the relevant options.
There are also options for debug and log.txt in this file.
