How the earth leakage protection works inside ATS22 soft starter
Earth leakage monitoring is done on the input (line side) of the ATS soft starter because the output of a soft starter is a chopped voltage waveform during starting, it provides a gradual linear voltage ramp to the motor. the toroid is designed for a true sinusoidal waveform so you may get nuisance tripping during starting if you install it after the ATS.

There are two parameters in ATS22 related to ground leakage current protection.
Grdd - Ground leakage current threshold - You can set its range between 10 to 100 (% of rated current)
Grdt - Ground leakage current time delay - You can adjust this parameter between 1 to 60 sec.
