Biography

A prolific business leader with 26 years of experience in running and managing businesses across domains & customer segments, working with Schneider Electric for 18 years.

Currently leading Corporate Strategy & Sustainability for Schneider India with a focus on future-proofing businesses, incubating ideas, championing Energy Efficiency & Sustainable development vision (ESG) of Schneider Electric.

Instrumental in winning prestigious awards like the CII-ITC Sustainability Award, Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency & Sustainability, Frost & Sullivan Best practices award for Emerging Energy Management Solutions Provider, and National CSR Award 2019 by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

Venkat was awarded as India’s most influential Sustainability leader of India in 2018 by a leading CSR & Sustainability organization in India. Venkat is passionate about Sustainable Development, Rural Electrification, Climate change & other areas of ESG. Currently the board member of Schneider Electric India Foundation (SEIF).

An Electrical Engineer with a master’s in business management specializing in Marketing, Energy Efficiency & Climate Sciences. Having worked with start-ups, Venkat is very excited about the potential of the tech start-ups in India & spends his free time supporting & mentoring them.
