Schneider Electric, the global leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, today announced its omni-channel retail outreach: ‘Schneider Electric (SE) Retail Pavilion’, targeted at retailers across the country. Through this concept, the company will enrol, scale, and upskill retailers and be a partner in their journey of digital transformation. The company has partnered with over 500+ retail stores as SE Retail Pavilions, for its B2C business, and aims to expand to with 2000+ SE retail pavilions spread Pan-India, by end of 2023.
As a part of this outreach, a distinctive Schneider Electric zone will be created inside the retail stores, highlighting the product portfolio along with empowering the retailers with value added trainings, loyalty programmes, and optimizing their presence in the market through digital marketing and search optimization. Schneider Electric will closely work with enlisted stores to create their unique digital identity with a seamless digitized information flow to give a smooth and consistent experience through all its distribution channels.
Regions beyond the urban spaces in India, there are several Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities that have conventional retail stores lacking a digital identity. With the world going digital, SE Retail Pavilion is the company’s effort in creating digital inclusiveness in these retailers by creating their digital identity, upskilling them in customer services and digitally optimising their presence in the market. This will in turn allow the brand to strengthen their omni channel retail presence, digitized end to end, and explore new retail routes to penetrate deeper into each market.
“With the launch of the SE Retail Pavilion, we are aiming to create a digitally powered ecosystem of retailers across Tier 1, 2 and 3 cities and towns. We want to efficiently meet consumer demand arising from any part of the country and drive a digital economy. We are also cognizant about our responsibility towards retailers and extremely focused in aiding their growth journey.
Through this initiative, we aim to meet challenges in operations and enhance our growth by duly communicating our product purpose and utilities, along with empowering the retailers, in the process.” said Mr. Srinivas Shanbhogue, Vice President, Home and Distribution, Schneider Electric India.
The retail strategy plays an important role in the growth of Schneider Electric. Retailers are one of the most important part of Schneider Electric’s ecosystem and the company is constantly striving towards empowering and enabling them to do more.
