What are the materials used for solid insulation and What are their benefits.

Premset is using well-known technologies and materials for solid insulation :
- connectics, bus bars, cable connections are using EPDM with external semi-conductive layer connected to earth. This technology has been used for decades for cable connections in MV and HV applications, with excellent feed-back from field.
- core unit overmolding and earthing switch tank are using the same epoxy resin as SM6 switchgear, so mastered by SE for more than 40 years. The conductive painting technology used for shielding the epoxy has been used for 20 years on products as Ringmaster, Genie-Evo in very severe service conditions without any negative feed-back.
