If the PCPE application is giving error as "Loss of communication between computer and UPS"

Plug the RJ45 to USB cable between the UPS data port and the Computer USB port . Go to Device Manager.Remove the cable (device manager will re-populate).Then add the usb cable (device manager will re-populate)...then keep an eye for the new device added.Then you want to right click on it, hit uninstall. It will remove it. Then reconnect the USB cable and it will try to re-install all the drivers needed
