How to create a basic floor plan in Security Expert.

To create a basic floor plan, kindly follow the below steps.

1. Navigate to Monitoring, Setup, Floor Plan Editor.

2. Click the Add button. The Add Floor Plan window opens.

3. Enter a Name for your floor plan.

4. If required, use the Copy From Existing feature to duplicate an existing floor plan. This enables you to quickly create a floor plan similar to an existing plan by copying all the settings which you can then adjust to suit.

5. Adjust the Width and Height as required then click Ok.

6. Locate and expand the Devices menu from the Properties pane on the right.

7. Click Add to open the Select Devices window.

8. Select the Device Type and Device.

9. Drag and drop each of the required devices on to the floor plan.

10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 to include additional device types as required.

11. Adjust the position and layout using the available toolbar.

12. Once you have the configuration and layout you want, click Save.

13. Repeat these steps to create additional floor plans. You can create as many floor plans as required.
