To configure the OPC UA server to run as a standalone application, disable the Windows service, as follows:

1 Open the configuration tool.

2 Select Settings → Options.

3 De-select Enable Service mode.

4 Select File → Save configuration.

NOTE: When the OPC UA server operates as a standalone application, the EcoStruxure OPC UA Server Expert Service Notifier application is disabled and does not appear as an icon in the task bar.
