Issue
Can the display cable from the CM3000 or CM4000 used with my PM800 Series (PM820/PM850) meter's remote display?

Cause
User needing to know if Remote display cable from the CM4000 or CM3000 will be compatible on PM800 series remote display or not.

Environment
Replacing remote display cable on PM800 series meter.

Resolution
The newer remote display cables for the CM3000/CM4000 and the PM800 remote display cable are the same part number (CAB4 or CAB 12 or CAB 30). They can be identified by a 1 inch long, white, shrink wrapped collar near each end of the cable. If the cable being used does not have this white, shrink wrapped collar it will not function properly on the PM800 remote display.

NOTE: The remote display cable for the PM600 series meter should never be used for the PM800 remote display.
