Issue:
CHF error or cabinet overheat error on the Process drives.
Product Line:
ATV630 and ATV930 Process drives
Environment:
All
Cause:
- Temperature in the enclosure to high.
- Setting of the thermo switch (must be 60°C)
Resolution:
Cabinet Overheat error
Principle
The digital cabinet I/O DI50 and DI51 are configurated as cabinet temperature monitoring. If the enclose thermoswitch open, in case of over temperature the CHF occurs. The error occurs only in RUN state. On NOT RUN state the warning CHF occur.
Probable cause
- Temperature in the enclosure to high.
- Setting of the thermo switch (must be 60°C)
Remedy
- check the setting of the internal thermo switch
- check the wiring from the thermo switch to the cabinet I/O - DI50 and DI51 on the power board.
Field Experience
- If the main switch is switched off the drive detect an CHF fault, due to the 24V supply of the PCBA's stays longer than the 24V for the thermoswitch.
--> This fault is solved since the software version V1.6.
