The purpose of this note is to inform you about an architecture with BMENUA0100 and M580 HSBY CPU which can make problems in some cases.
In an HSBY Modicon M580 configuration, when the BMENUA0100 is connected to the same switch as the embedded Ethernet port of the M580 CPU, the OPCUA connection throughout the control port of BMENUA0100 could be lost after a swap or change-over of the M580 CPU.
To avoid this behavior, we recommend so to separate those networks.
Firmware version from 1.01 and above
